This was revealed in a recent Gallup Pakistan survey in which 52 percent of people said that they do not support arranged marriage at all, while 39 percent supported arranged marriage.

They said that there is no objection to arranged marriage, while surprisingly, the highest opposition to arranged marriage was from the urban population.

According to the survey, 58 percent of the urban population objected to it, while the rate of opposition to arranged marriage among the rural population was 49 percent.
